APPROVED LOCAL 1998 BY-LAWS 2008 (pdf)

The Bylaws Committee has been re-constituted to consider updates and amendments to our existing by-laws. The original by-laws were developed to supplement the Steelworkers Bylaws for Local Unions and they were approved at the September 2002 local meeting.

Bylaws serve as basic rules of process for our local. Issues considered include the structure of our monthly meetings, finances, compensation, election regulations and the structure of our executive.
