Dear Fellow ELP Instructors and USW Members,

I am happy to announce the results of last night's ratification vote. For the Staff Appointed Instructors, 94 % in favour of the agreement and 95 % in favour for the Casual Instructors agreement. I want to thank all the instructors for your support and patience in reaching these agreements. These agreements are now yours!  And we should all be proud that we have made our work environment a better place with these contracts.

I'd like to say a special thank you to Heather Bryans who worked so hard and always persisted to get what's best for all instructors. I commend you for your dedication.

Lastly,  on July  17th at 1pm, we will be having a nomination meeting for three positions: Unit Chair/ Chief Steward and two Stewards. Remember, any instructor can  run for the positions.  And if more than one person is nominated for one of the postions, we will hold a vote on July 24th.
